Discovery Shares Community Open House and Registration

Is your child ready for school? We know that early childhood education plays a key role in getting your children ready for school. It helps develop some of the qualities they need to make the most of their school years such as language, social skills, emotional maturity, physical health, and the ability to express ideas. Children who are ready for school tend to have good language skills, are eager to learn and bring positive attitudes into the classroom

Children who are five years old before January 1, 2023 are eligible to register for Kindergarten. Each school in the St. James-Assiniboia School Division is hosting an Information Evening to provide you with an opportunity to meet the teachers and learn more about school programs. This year, due to COVID-19, these sessions will take place virtually.
