Discovery Will Open March 30th To Provide Services For Essential Service Providers
Several of our staff have been working hard this week preparing to open for care of up to 40 children of parents who have self-declared as “Essential Service Providers”. Some of these children will be new to our Centre and others are children who are already enrolled in Discovery programs.
Based on the fact that schools will be opened and the three week shut down will be over as of Saturday, April 11th, we are expecting that many of our parents will be back at work and business will return as usual, beginning Monday, April 13th.
Previously, notice was given to parents that Discovery would be closed for staff professional development on Monday, April 13th. We have decided to make life a little less complicated, and we are now planning to remain open this day.
Due to the uncertainties of current global circumstances, we are taking this seriously. Taking the directive from health and government officials, changes may occur. Discovery will do our best to give parents ample notice of changes. It is imperative that all parents visit Discovery’s website frequently for updates.
