Discovery’s Annual Family Fun Day Brings Joy to All

Discovery’s Annual Family Fun Day was once again a huge success, bringing together families, staff, and community members for an evening of fun, connection, and celebration.

Unlike many events, Family Fun Day is not designed as a fundraiser. Our goal is simply to create a space where our community can gather and enjoy time together. This year, our Board chose to take a new approach by inviting parents to donate food and supplies. Thanks to the generosity of our families and local businesses, we were able to provide a full evening of activities, food, and entertainment — all at no cost to attendees. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed!

This special event wouldn’t have been possible without the help of many hands. We extend our sincere thanks to the volunteers from West End Christian Community, our Board members, Discovery staff, parents, and additional volunteers who dedicated their time and energy to making the evening memorable for all.

New This Year: Family Prize Draw!
To add a little extra excitement, we introduced a family prize draw. All children — whether they attended the event or not — were entered for a chance to win. Congratulations to our lucky winners:
