Halloween Celebrations at Discovery

Halloween is just around the corner, and our Discovery programs are getting ready for some festive fun! (Please note that our Christian Preschool program will not be participating in Halloween celebrations.)

Costumes

Children are welcome to bring a costume from home to join in the excitement. We kindly ask that families choose non-scary costumes and avoid any toy weapons or accessories that resemble weapons. While our staff will do their best to help children care for their costumes, we can’t guarantee they’ll come home in perfect condition—please keep this in mind when deciding what to send.

Many of our programs will also have face paints and dress-up clothes available at the Centre for children who prefer to join in the fun that way.

Treats

If you plan to send or share treats, we ask that you please include a list of ingredients, whether the treats are store-bought or homemade, so that we can help keep all children safe and accommodate any allergies or sensitivities.

Trick-or-Treating

We will not be trick-or-treating within the Centre this year. Each classroom will be celebrating in its own special way.
