Halloween Celebrations at Discovery

With Halloween falling on a Saturday this year, some of our programs will be celebrating toward the end of the week. Please note that our Christian Preschool program will not be participating in Halloween celebrations.

Costumes

Children are welcome to bring a costume from home to join in the fun! We kindly ask that families choose non-scary costumes and avoid toy weapons or accessories that resemble weapons.

Our educators will do their best to help children care for their costumes throughout the day; however, we cannot guarantee they will return home in perfect condition. Please keep this in mind when deciding what to send.

For children who prefer not to bring a costume from home, many of our programs will have face paint and dress-up clothes available at the Centre so everyone can join in the fun!

Treats

If you plan to send or share treats, please include a list of ingredients for both store-bought and homemade items. This helps us accommodate allergies and sensitivities and ensure the safety and well-being of all children.

Trick-or-Treating

We will not be trick-or-treating within the Centre this year. Instead, each classroom will celebrate in its own special way, with activities suited to the children in their group.
